Punctuality: Massage sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session will take place in the remaining time available for your appointment. The full massage fee will be charged for the session.
Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask that you give at least a 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. I do ask that you reschedule if you are not feeling well even if it is less than 24 hours notice. Receiving massage while ill is not beneficial for your healing and poses a health risk to other clients and myself.
No Show: While I understand that emergencies and unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life, I ask that you let me know as soon as possible that you cannot make it to your appointment. The first time you miss an appointment, a first-time waiver cancellation fee may be used. For all future missed appointments, you will be charged a full massage session.
Payment and Return Check: Full payment is required at the time of the massage session unless other arrangements have been made prior to treatment. I accept cash, check, Paypal, and Venmo. In case a check is returned due to insufficient funds, you will be responsible to pay all fees charged by the bank.
Hygiene and Scents: This a scent-free and clean space. As such, I ask that you come to the massage session clean and avoid wearing perfume and/or cologne.
Health and Safety: I am fully vaccinated, received my booster, and wear a medical grade mask during the massage session to ensure your safety. Mask recommendations vary depending on community transmission levels. If community transmission levels are low and individuals are not at high risk for infection, have not been exposed to COVID-19, and don’t have any symptoms, masks are optional.
I ask that you please reschedule your appointment if you have:
- a known exposure to COVID-19
- any respiratory symptoms (not allergies)
- had a cold or a flu
- had a fever over 100.4 °F
